Wine Bottle Dip
Many people like to drink wine to unwind. If you belong to this group, you probably know about the dip at the end of the bottle. Why did they design it this way?
Known as the punt or kick-up, it gives the bottle the stability it needs to prevent falling down after a gust of wind passes by. It also lends it the strength to hold sparkling wine. Lastly, it distributes steam during cleaning, right before the wine is poured in.
